Lux Veri is more than a wine. It is a conduit for connection, from crush to the clink of glasses at your table. Every bottle carries the journey with it, starting with top quality vineyards across Northern California. Every pour invites stories, sparks laughter and deepening bonds.
From vineyard to bottle, Lux Veri brings people together.
Wreatha had been a hobbyist winemaker for several years when she and Amos met. On one of the first dates, Wreatha brought a bottle of exceptional wine that she had made. Lux Veri was born as Amos became Wreatha’s wine making student, eventually were married, developed a small winery in the back if their property and the rest of the story, as they say, is history.
Now having made wine together for more than a decade, they are dedicated to finding the very best quality grapes in Northern California. From Russian and Anderson Valleys, come Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Fran and Merlot from Napa Valley and from the Sierra Foothills for the very best of Italian varietals. The result has been top quality wines that have won Gold, Double Gold and Best of Class in various California State Fair and other competitions. Around these wines they have made deep connections with countless friends and have made a place where people love to gather.
Ed and Kathy have been making wine for more than 20 of their 50 years together and 8 years ago added a home vineyard to their efforts. Their goal is to bring out the best in whatever varietals they are working with… giving the fruit time to guide them in the wine making process and to allow the grapes to determine the direction of the wine.
Bordeaux wines and blends have been their main focus, and they are proud recipients of many awards including Best of show for their Cab Franc, Best of Class and a number of Gold andDouble Gold winning Bordeaux wines. They also thrive on taking new challenges of more unique varietals and blends. Wine making is a passion for them and they enjoy sharing that passion and knowledge with their fellow winemakers and benefit from the exchange of ideas and techniques to make the best wines possible.
Joe and Cori Morgan have been making wine together for the past decade. They own and produce Cojo Wines and are especially renowned for their award- winning Napa Valley Cab Franc and Russian River Valley Pinot Noirs. They firmly believe that life is too short to drink bad wine, and this attitude leads them to a desire to create an exceptional bottle of wine.
Producing high quality single varietals with the finest fruit that can be found, Joe and Cori strive to bring out the best characteristics of the fruit in every bottle. Their ultimate goal is to produce the perfect bottle of wine, and they relish sharing their delicious creations with fellow wine lovers.
